25 John Cartmell will be back to speak on Nutrition--Myth & Misconceptions. Good to consider for those that made a New Year's Resolution to go on a diet.

28 Mayor (and fellow Lion) Pete Lewis will be our speaker. He will be sharing what can happen if there is flooding due to the failure of the Howard-Hanson dam or even if there is a need to release water in the event of the danger of it failing. In the event of either of the scenarios our lives would be disrupted.

12 - Stew Bowen will be speaking on behalf of the Bonney Lake Food Bank and the Bread of Life. He has plans to help the needy and the Lions have an opportunity to help with his program. The Lions 4 Kids House volunteers have already stepped up.

10th Lynn Thorne from Garden Terrace in Federal Way speaking on the ailments such as Alzheimer's.
24th Laura Miller, a Community Service Officer from the City of Bonney Lakes to speak on matters such as personal safety, shopping lifting, fraud etc. There will be a Q&A time for our specific concerns.
February
14th will be a short meeting with time for socializing and Valentine's Day Party.
28th Neil Johnson, Mayor of Bonney Lake, will be our speaker.
March
13th David Pratt will be sharing all about the great things Lions do through LERC.
27th Marty Goulden will be talking about the environmental and social impact of using bottled water in communities around the globe.
April
10th Dan Packer of the East Pierce Fire and Rescue to inform us on the annexation of the Fire District. We will be able to vote on this issue soon.
24th Mayor Neil Johnson will be speaking (hoping to hear soon what he wants to share)
May
8th Melissa Soules who represents the Alzheimer's Association and A Place for Mom will be speaking on the up-coming Memory Walk.
22nd Dan Schmitt with Cascade Regional Blood Services.
June
12th Judy Trummert with Good Samaritan Home Health/Hospice will tell us where to go for help, and what type of services are available should you or your loved one become ill and need assistance. She will also discuss what a DNR is and organ donation.
26th Installation of New Members and Officers. The Mayor of Auburn and a long standing Auburn Noon Lion will be doing the honors. A $10 lunch that day will include dessert.
July
10th Dr. Gil Mendoza wants to relate how his first year as Superintendent of the Summer School District progressed under his leadership.
24th Linda Morris is going to share "When it is time to talk about Senior Living."
August

11th Eugene Montgomery will be sharing about the 501(c)3 whereby children, 8-10, who qualify may earn an award from KOSS (Keep Our Schools Safe). Isn't this thought provoking?
25th Jana Decker represents Guide*Dogs for the Blind. We will be having some special visitors at this meeting. Look forward to an interesting talk.

9th Mary Jo Cady the Foundation Trustee for District C will be enlightening us as to the processing of hearing aids.
23rd Janet Pack's topic is "The Keys to the IRA Kingdom." There are some new IRS laws we should be aware of. This gives us time to consider financial moves prior to the end of the year.
November
13th Lions District Governor, John Doyle will be visiting.
27th No meeting. Happy Thanksgiving!
December
11th Dina Southerland representing East Pierce Fire and Rescue. The subject is "General Winter Safety." No meeting

11th Bonnie Williamson from Shelton is a sight speaker and will share about the programs and help provided by the Lions.
25th Jon Homberg from Enumclaw is speaking on Lions involvement after the Tsunami. He actually went there and has great pictures.
February
8th Anthony Cuccia will speak on the benefits of Long Term Care. (I can tell you a story on why it is a good idea to be sure you are getting the best coverage possible for your dollar.)
22nd Tom Burrill will speak to how to best plan for keeping your hard earned money through good and legal planning.
March
8th John Partridge will speak about White Cane Days and how Auburn Noon Lions had a very successful fund raiser.
22nd Nicole England will be speaking on investments which have good tax ramifications for the current tax season and benefits for your retirement.

10th Jim LaBelle will be speaking on the Camp Leo program that teaches children how to cope with Diabetes in today’s environment. The camp runs from July 22-28 in Shelton . We can sign up now for the day or days we want to serve as a club. We can do the morning & lunch session or the evening session.

12th Mr. Snodgrass from BECU will be speaking on how to protect ourselves from Idenitity Theft relating to banking activity and the internet.
26th Sunya Granham from Cedar Ridge Retirement Center will be sharing what is available at that facility.
August
9th At this meeting we will be installing our new members and presenting them with their pins.
23rd The regular meeting has been cancelled because of the club's involvement with Bonney Lake Days.
September
13th The new superintendent, Dr. Gil Mendoza for the Sumner School District will be our speaker.
27th will be David Pratt to speak on putting on an Open House.
October
11th will be Bonnie Williamson who will share about the programs and help provided by Lions and Mel Williamson will speak about the Children Poster Campaign. (Bonnie's program is the one that was canceled due to snow in January.)
25th is Mr. Gerald Moczynski, CEO, for the American Red Cross Mount Rainier Chapter. Topic: Red Cross Emergency Preparedness, Organizational Overview, Ways to Get Involved & Support Local Disaster Relief and Programs.
November
8th - Sunya Grantham will be speaking about the new Cedar Ridge facility. Also, Charles Russell the Zone Chair will say a few words about the upcoming visit of the District Governor.
