For assistance or questions about our Hearing Care activity,
Judy, I just wanted to thank you again for all your help with getting my dad hearing aids. He got the hearing aids on Tuesday and has just been amazed at all the sounds he has been missing. Debbie, from Dr. Johnsons office, told him there is an adjustment period of 4 to 5 weeks, and he has been having some difficulties, but overall it is a wonderful blessing.
He told me that on Wednesday he was running around the house looking for a water leak, that he could hear water running somewhere. He went to the back door and opened it and realized it was the rain running down the gutters. LOL I would have loved to have seen that. Talking on the phone for him has been wonderful with the hearing aids, he can actually hear the whole conversation not just bits and pieces.
This has made a world of difference to not only my dad, but our whole family. We can actually hold a conversation that he can be a part of and no one has to raise their voice.
